The Foundation works under the motto of ‘No Poverty, Only Dignity’. Its work spans four thematic areas - health, education, skill development, livelihoods including MSMEs in aspirational districts across India. To further the work of the foundation, Shri Krishna Prasad Tenneti, then IPS and DGP, adopted Yerravally village in Vikarabad district in 2015 with the goal of serving society.
He then launched a survey of Yerravally village and nearby areas on the availability of basic infrastructure, revenue streams, skill sets, and educational facilities with the assistance of 15 motivated engineers. The house-to-house study focused on the literacy rate in the community, including the number of children enrolled in schools, school dropouts, and the reasons for dropping out.
KP Foundation is impacting the lives of people across communities/villages in aspirational districts by the following works: Project Sookshma Udyog (Livelihood), Project Vidhya Amrutham (Education), Project Deerghayushi Bhava, Project Sanjeevene (Health) and Project Haritha hi Hari (Climate).
In collaboration with Nasscom Foundation KP Foundation conducted Digital Literacy Program in 3 States (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra) and in 5 Districts like Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Bhupalpalli, Kadapa, Nandurbar, Gadchiroli.
